I hate Sandro sooo much almost from the beginning till the last of the story.
“How much longer are you going to punish me for my stupidity?”
I just want to yell it out loud “don’t hold your breath for it!”
I think the hero is not quite groveling enough after all those anguish he caused! He practically rejected and humiliated the heroine so much that I feel it so inhumanly.
And the ending was like “Sandro, you gorgeous idiot… I never stopped loving you.”
How could you love a man who treat you like that? Whatever the reason, someone should never be treated like that! I could feel the heroine killed inside, and I was beginning to feel this dread feeling every time their scenes started to get awry. I’d wondered what he’d say or do to hurt and humiliate her again.
BUT! I love this book so much. Despite all the hate I have for the hero (hey, it’s a proof that this book’s doing wonderful job, right?), this book is totally GREAT.
And I love the heroine! although I feel it’s too soon for her to forgive her husband, but well, a book always has to end anyway 🙂
This is one of few books I have read that make me sigh happily and say “wow..this is great!” when I finished it. I also happen to have read it many times and it never gets old :)))
